Praying from 1 Corinthians 6:13. Themes: Food, Sexual morality, Body
Dear Lord, we acknowledge that foods are meant for the belly and the belly for foods, but we also know that you will bring to nothing both it and them. We pray that we may not be consumed by our physical desires but instead focus on serving you with our bodies. Help us to resist sexual immorality and use our bodies for your glory. May we honor you in all that we do, and may our bodies be a living sacrifice to you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: “Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
