Praying from 1 Corinthians 4:18. Themes: Pride, Second Coming.

Dear Lord, please help me to remain humble and not become puffed up with pride, even when it seems like you are not coming to me. Help me to trust in your timing and to always remember that you are with me, even when I cannot see or feel your presence. May I always seek to serve and honor you, rather than seeking my own glory. Amen.

Verse: Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
1 Corinthians 4:18

This is a Command. The verse is a warning to those who are becoming arrogant and complacent in their faith, reminding them that the author (presumably Paul) will indeed be coming to them and they should not be deceived into thinking otherwise.
