Praying from 1 Corinthians 15:50. Themes: Salvation, Eternal Life, Resurrection.
Dear God, I come before you today acknowledging that flesh and blood cannot inherit your Kingdom. I pray that you help me to focus on the things that are imperishable and eternal, rather than the things of this world that will fade away. May I always seek your will and your ways, and may I be transformed by your Spirit to become more like you. Thank you for the promise of eternal life in your Kingdom, and may I live my life in a way that honors and glorifies you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood can’t inherit God’s Kingdom; neither does the perishable inherit imperishable.
1 Corinthians 15:50
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to understand that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom and that the perishable cannot inherit the imperishable. It is a call to recognize the limitations of our physical bodies and to strive for spiritual growth and transformation.
