Dear God, help me to understand that in order for new life to grow, old things must die. Help me to let go of the things that are holding me back and trust in the process of growth and transformation. Give me the wisdom to sow seeds of love, kindness, and compassion, knowing that they will bear fruit in due time. Thank you for the promise of new life and the hope that comes with it. Amen.
Verse: You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.
1 Corinthians 15:36
This is a Command. The verse is telling the reader that in order for something to come to life, it must first die. It is a call to let go of old ways and habits in order to make room for new growth and transformation.
