Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that those who have fallen asleep in Christ have not perished. I thank you for the assurance that death is not the end for those who believe in you. I pray that you would comfort those who have lost loved ones and remind them of this promise. Help us to trust in your plan and to find peace in the knowledge that our loved ones are with you. Thank you for the hope that we have in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
