Praying from 1 Corinthians 12:29. Themes: Gifts, Unity, Diversity
Dear Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts and ask for your guidance. We know that not all of us are called to be apostles, prophets, teachers, or miracle workers, but we pray that you would equip us with the gifts and talents that you have given us. Help us to use these gifts to serve you and others, and to bring glory to your name. May we always be willing to follow your will and to do what is right in your eyes. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
1 Corinthians 12:29
This is a Command. The verse is asking rhetorical questions to emphasize that not everyone has the same spiritual gifts and abilities. The command implied is to recognize and accept the diversity of gifts within the church community.
