Dear God, help me to understand that just because I may not have the same talents or abilities as others, it does not mean that I am not a valuable part of your body. May I never feel inferior or insignificant, but instead embrace the unique role you have given me in your kingdom. Thank you for creating me with purpose and for including me in your family. Amen.
Verse: If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.
1 Corinthians 12:16
This is a Command. The verse is telling the reader not to discount their importance or value in the body of Christ just because they may not have the same gifts or abilities as others.
