Praying from 1 Corinthians 1:12. Themes: Unity, Division, Leadership
Dear Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts, recognizing that we are all different and have our own unique perspectives. Help us to remember that we are all part of your body, and that we should not be divided by our differences. Instead, let us follow you, Lord, and seek to understand and appreciate the different gifts and talents that you have given each of us. May we always remember that we are all one in Christ, and that our ultimate goal is to glorify you in all that we do. Amen.
Verse: Now I mean this, that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” “I follow Apollos,” “I follow Cephas,” and, “I follow Christ.”
1 Corinthians 1:12
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to not divide themselves into factions based on who they follow, but to instead be united in following Christ.
