Praying from 1 Corinthians 10:1. Themes: Salvation, Redemption, Deliverance.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for your word that enlightens and guides us in all aspects of our lives. Lord, I pray that you would help me to never be ignorant of your ways and your truth.

As I reflect on the verse, “Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,” I am reminded of your faithfulness to your people. You led them through the wilderness and protected them from harm. You provided for their every need and showed them your power and might.

Lord, I pray that you would help me to trust in your faithfulness and provision in my own life. Help me to remember that just as you led your people through the sea, you will also lead me through the challenges and trials that I face.

Thank you, Lord, for your love and grace. May I always seek to know you more and follow your ways.

In Jesus’ name, I pray,

Amen.

Verse: Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1 Corinthians 10:1

This is a Command. The verse is urging the reader to not be ignorant about the history of their ancestors who were led by God through the cloud and sea.
