Dear God, please help me to be like the righteous who give generously. May I never be like the wicked who borrow and don’t pay back. Give me a heart that desires to bless others and to be a good steward of the resources you have given me. Help me to be faithful in my financial responsibilities and to honor you with my giving. Thank you for your provision and for the opportunity to be a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.
Psalms 37:21

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to be righteous and give generously, while avoiding the behavior of the wicked who borrow and do not repay.
