Praying from Acts 17:31. Themes: Judgment, Righteousness, Resurrection.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for appointing a day in which you will judge the world in righteousness. I claim the promise that you have given assurance to all men, in that you have raised Jesus from the dead. I pray that I may live my life in a way that honors you and your righteousness. Help me to follow the example of Jesus and to trust in him as the man whom you have ordained to judge the world. May I always remember that through his resurrection, I have the assurance of eternal life with you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”
Acts 17:31
This is a Promise. The verse assures all men that God will judge the world in righteousness through the man he has ordained, who he has raised from the dead.
