Dear God, thank you for the power to forgive sins. Help me to be a vessel of your grace and mercy, and to extend forgiveness to those who have wronged me. Give me the wisdom to discern when to retain someone’s sins and when to forgive them. May your love and forgiveness flow through me to others, and may I always seek to reconcile and restore relationships. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”
John 20:23

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to forgive or retain sins.
