Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for being the light in our lives. Help us to walk in your light and not be overtaken by darkness. Guide us on the path you have set for us so that we may know where we are going. May we always seek your guidance and wisdom as we journey through life. In your holy name we pray, Amen.

Verse: Jesus therefore said to them,“Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn’t overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn’t know where he is going.
John 12:35

This is a Command: Walk while you have the light. Summary: Jesus commands the reader to take advantage of the light while it is still available, so that they do not fall into darkness.
