Dear Lord, as we come before you today, we ask for your guidance and wisdom. Help us to be aware of those who seek recognition and praise for their own gain. Protect us from the scribes who walk in long robes and seek attention in the marketplaces. May we always seek to serve you with humility and love, and may our actions reflect your teachings. We pray for discernment and strength to resist the temptations of the world and to follow your path. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
