Prayer based on Luke 6:45. Themes: Heart, Speech, Good vs. Evil

Dear God, please help me to be a good person who brings out good things from the treasure of my heart. May my words and actions reflect the goodness that you have placed within me. Please protect me from evil and help me to resist the temptation to bring out anything that is not good. May my heart be filled with your love and may my mouth speak words of kindness, compassion, and truth. Thank you for the abundance of blessings that you have given me, and may I use them to bring glory to your name. Amen.

Verse: The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
Luke 6:45
