Dear Lord, forgive me for the times when I have called you Lord but failed to follow your commands. Help me to be obedient to your will and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Give me the strength and courage to do the things that you have called me to do, and to love others as you have loved me. May my actions always reflect my faith in you, and may I never take your grace and mercy for granted. Thank you for your love and forgiveness, and for always being there for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Command. The verse is a rebuke from Jesus to those who call him Lord but do not obey his teachings. The command is to follow and obey Jesus’ teachings.
