Prayer based on Luke 1:66. Themes: Promise, Faithfulness, Providence.
Father God, I thank you for the promise that all who heard of John the Baptist laid him up in their hearts, wondering what he would become. I claim this promise for myself and for my loved ones. May we be like John, with the hand of the Lord upon us, guiding us and leading us into your perfect will. May we be a source of wonder and inspiration to those around us, as we fulfill the purpose you have for our lives. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promises you have given us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
