Dear Lord, as I go through the ups and downs of life, I pray that I may always trust in your promises. Just as the servants met the father and reported that his child lives, I claim the promise that you have given me – that you will never leave me nor forsake me. May I always have faith in your goodness and mercy, and may I never lose hope in your promises. Thank you for your unfailing love and for the assurance that you are always with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: As he was going down, his servants met him and reported, saying “Your child lives!”
John 4:51

This is a Promise. The verse is a report of the servants telling the father that his child is alive.
