Praying from Matthew 12:45. Themes: Sin, Repentance, Consequences
Dear Lord, please protect me from the influence of evil spirits. Help me to resist temptation and to stay strong in my faith. May I never allow the enemy to gain a foothold in my life. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and guide me in the path of righteousness. I pray that I may never fall into a worse state than before, but instead, continue to grow in your love and grace. May your will be done in my life, and may I always be a faithful servant of yours. Amen.
Verse: Then he goes and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than he is, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Even so will it be also to this evil generation.”

This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader to avoid falling back into sin, as it will lead to a worse state than before.
