Praying from James 1:17 relating to Providence, Faithfulness, Consistency.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for every good gift and every perfect gift that you have bestowed upon me. I acknowledge that all these blessings come from you, the Father of lights, who never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

I claim the promise that every good and perfect gift is from above, and I trust that you will continue to pour out your blessings upon me. I pray that you will help me to recognize and appreciate all the good things that you have given me, and to use them for your glory.

Thank you for your unchanging love and faithfulness, and for the assurance that you will always provide for my needs. I trust in your goodness and grace, and I pray that you will continue to bless me abundantly.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that every good and perfect gift comes from God and that He is unchanging and consistent in His giving.
