Praying from James 1:7 relating to Humility, Faith, Prayer

Dear Lord, please help me to understand that I cannot expect to receive anything from you if I do not have faith and trust in you. May I always remember that it is only through your grace and mercy that I am able to receive blessings and that I must have a humble and obedient heart to receive them. Thank you for your love and guidance in my life. Amen.

Verse: For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord.
James 1:7

This is a Command. The verse is telling the reader not to think that they will receive anything from the Lord if they doubt or waver in their faith.
