Praying from Hebrews 12:1 relating to Perseverance, Sin, Weight
Dear God, thank you for the great cloud of witnesses that surround us and inspire us to run the race set before us. Please help us to lay aside every weight and sin that entangles us, and give us the strength and perseverance to run with endurance. May we always keep our eyes fixed on you and your will for our lives. Amen.
Verse: Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to lay aside every weight and sin that entangles them and to run with perseverance the race set before them.
