Dear Lord, please help me to humble myself and not be arrogant. May I have a heart that mourns for the wrongs done in my community and seek to remove those who cause harm. Guide me to be a peacemaker and a light in the darkness. Amen.

Verse: You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
1 Corinthians 5:2

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to remove the person who has done wrong from among them instead of being arrogant and not mourning.
