Dear God,
Please grant me the wisdom and understanding to receive rebuke with humility and grace. Help me to recognize the value of correction and to learn from it, rather than becoming defensive or resistant. May the words of rebuke penetrate deeply into my heart and mind, leading me to grow and improve in all areas of my life.
I pray that I will not be like a fool who requires a hundred lashes to learn a lesson, but rather that I will be receptive to correction and willing to change. Thank you for the gift of understanding and the opportunity to learn and grow each day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
