Praying from 1 Thessalonians 4:15 relating to Resurrection, Second Coming.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that we who are alive and remain until your coming will not precede those who have fallen asleep. I claim this promise today and trust in your faithfulness to fulfill it. Help me to live each day with the hope and expectation of your return, and to be ready to meet you when that day comes. May I be found faithful and obedient to your will, and may I always be ready to give an account of my life to you. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the assurance of eternal life in your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep.

This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who are alive at the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have already died.
