Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you will not allow anyone to do me wrong. I claim this promise today and ask that you would protect me from any harm or injustice. Just as you reproved kings for the sake of your people, I pray that you would also intervene on my behalf when necessary. Help me to trust in your sovereignty and to rest in the assurance that you are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
