Praying from Romans 9:29. Themes: Salvation, Judgment, Faithfulness.
Dear Lord of Armies,
I come before you today claiming the promise that you have left us a seed. As Isaiah has said before, without your provision, we would have become like Sodom and Gomorrah.
I thank you for your faithfulness and for always providing for us. I trust in your promise that you will never leave us nor forsake us. I pray that you would continue to guide us and protect us, and that we would always remember your goodness and mercy.
Thank you for being our provider and our protector. May we always trust in your promises and follow your ways.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: As Isaiah has said before,“Unless the Lord of Armies had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and would have been made like Gomorrah.”
Romans 9:29
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God has left a remnant (or seed) of faithful people, otherwise the people would have been destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah.
