Praying from Romans 9:21. Themes: Sovereignty, Justice, Mercy.
Dear God, as the potter has the right over the clay, I pray that you mold me into a vessel for honor. Help me to be a vessel that brings glory to your name and serves your purpose. May I be a vessel that is used to bring light and love to those around me. And if there are areas in my life that need to be refined, I pray that you would shape me and mold me into the person you want me to be. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.
Verse: Or hasn’t the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?
Romans 9:21
This is a Command. The verse is stating that the potter has the right to make vessels for both honor and dishonor from the same lump of clay.
