Praying from Romans 8:23. Themes: Redemption, Adoption, Groaning.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit, who has given us the first fruits of your love and grace. We acknowledge that we are not perfect and that we groan within ourselves, waiting for the day when we will be fully adopted into your family and our bodies will be redeemed.

We claim the promise of your word that we will one day be made whole and complete in you. We trust in your faithfulness and your love for us, knowing that you will never leave us or forsake us.

Help us to live each day with the hope and assurance of our future in you. May we be filled with your Spirit and empowered to live for your glory. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Amen.
