Praying from Romans 8:15. Themes: Freedom, Adoption, Relationship with God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the promise that we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but we have received the Spirit of adoption. I claim this promise today and declare that I am no longer a slave to fear, but I am a child of God.

I cry out to you, Abba Father, and I thank you for adopting me into your family. I am grateful for the love and acceptance that you have shown me, and I pray that I will always remember that I am your child.

Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and brings glory to your name. May the Spirit of adoption that you have given me empower me to live a life of faith and courage, knowing that you are always with me.

Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promise that I am your child forever.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Romans 8:15

This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who have received the Spirit of adoption can cry out to God as their loving Father, rather than living in fear and bondage.
