Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that as many as receive you, you give the right to become your children. I believe in your name and I claim this promise for myself. I pray that you would help me to live as your child, to walk in your ways and to bring glory to your name. Thank you for the gift of salvation and for making me a part of your family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:
John 1:12
This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who receive Jesus and believe in his name will be given the right to become God’s children.
