Praying from Romans 8:20. Themes: Creation, Vanity, Hope.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that the creation was subjected to vanity not of its own will, but because of you who subjected it in hope. I pray that you will help me to understand and accept this truth in my life. May I trust in your plan and purpose for my life, even when things seem difficult or uncertain. Help me to have hope in you and your promises, knowing that you are in control and that all things work together for good for those who love you. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the hope that you give us through your word. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
Romans 8:20
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that creation was subjected to vanity (or futility) because of God, but there is hope for redemption.
