Praying from Romans 8:19. Themes: Creation, Eager Expectation, Children of God
Dear God, I thank you for the promise that the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. I claim this promise for myself and for all your children. May we be revealed as your children in all that we do, say, and think. May our lives be a reflection of your love and grace, so that the world may see and know that we belong to you. Help us to live in a way that brings glory to your name and draws others to you. Thank you for the hope and assurance that we have in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
Romans 8:19
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that creation is eagerly waiting for the revelation of the children of God. It is not giving a command to the reader.
