Praying from Romans 4:5. Themes: Faith, Justification, Righteousness.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for the promise that you have given us in your word, that to him who doesn’t work but believes in you who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.
Lord, I claim this promise for myself today. I confess that I am unworthy and unrighteous, but I believe in you and your saving grace. I trust in your mercy and forgiveness, and I know that my faith in you is enough to make me righteous in your sight.
Thank you, Lord, for your love and your faithfulness. Thank you for the gift of salvation that you have given us through your son, Jesus Christ. I pray that you would continue to strengthen my faith and help me to live a life that honors and glorifies you.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.
Romans 4:5
This is a Promise. The verse promises that if someone believes in God who justifies the ungodly, their faith will be accounted for righteousness, even if they don’t work.
