Praying from Romans 4:14. Themes: Faith, Law, Promise
Father, I thank you that I am not under the law but under grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I claim the promise that if I am an heir of God, then faith is not made void and the promise is not made of no effect. I declare that I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. I believe that all your promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. I trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness towards me. Thank you for your grace and mercy that sustains me every day. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of no effect.
Romans 4:14
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that if inheritance is based solely on following the law, then faith becomes meaningless and the promise of salvation through faith is nullified.
