Praying from Romans 3:8. Themes: condemnation, slander, ethics

Dear Lord, we pray that we may never be slanderously reported or accused of saying, “Let’s do evil, that good may come.” Help us to always choose the path of righteousness and to never compromise our values for the sake of achieving a desired outcome. May we always be justly condemned if we ever stray from your ways. Amen.

Verse: Why not ( as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), “Let’s do evil, that good may come?” Those who say so are justly condemned.
Romans 3:8

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to suggest doing evil in order to bring about good.
