Praying from Romans 2:25. Themes: Law, Circumcision, Transgression.
Dear Lord, I pray that I may be a doer of your law and that my circumcision may profit me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to follow your commands. Forgive me for any times that I have transgressed your law and help me to turn away from sin. May my heart be circumcised and pure before you, and may my actions reflect my faith in you. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Verse: For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
Romans 2:25
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to be a doer of the law in order for circumcision to be profitable. If the reader is a transgressor of the law, their circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
