Dear Lord, we thank you for the promise that there will be a root of Jesse who will arise to rule over the Gentiles. We claim this promise and pray that you will raise up a leader who will bring hope to all nations. May this leader be filled with your wisdom, strength, and compassion, and may the Gentiles put their trust in him. We pray for the fulfillment of this prophecy and for the coming of your kingdom on earth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
