Praying from Romans 11:11. Themes: Salvation, Gentiles, Jealousy.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that by the fall of Israel, salvation has come to the Gentiles. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who have yet to know you. May we be provoked to jealousy by the salvation that you have offered us. Help us to share this good news with others and to live our lives in a way that honors you. May we never forget the sacrifice that was made for us and may we always be grateful for the salvation that we have received. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.
Romans 11:11
This is a Promise.
The verse is stating that the fall of the Jews has resulted in salvation coming to the Gentiles, which will hopefully provoke the Jews to jealousy and lead them to also accept salvation.
