Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the knowledge and persuasion that nothing is unclean of itself. Help me to remember that what I consider unclean may not be so in your eyes. Give me the wisdom to discern what is truly unclean and to avoid it, but also the grace to accept and love those who may see things differently. May my thoughts and actions always be pleasing to you. Amen.

Verse: I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
Romans 14:14

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not consider anything unclean if it is not inherently unclean.
