Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in Psalm 90:15. You have promised to make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil. I thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you will turn our mourning into dancing and our sorrow into joy. I pray that you will continue to be with us in our times of affliction and that you will bring us out of it with a heart full of gladness. May we always remember that you are with us, even in the darkest of times, and that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for your love and your mercy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
