Prayer based on Psalms 77:9. Themes: Grace, Anger, Compassion.

Dear God, I come to you today with a heavy heart, feeling forgotten and alone. But I know that you are a gracious and compassionate God, and I claim the promise that you will never withhold your love from me. Help me to trust in your goodness and to find comfort in your unfailing love. Thank you for always being there for me, even in my darkest moments. Amen.

Verse: Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?”
Psalms 77:9

This is a Promise. The verse is a rhetorical question that implies that God has not forgotten to be gracious and has not withheld his compassion, even in times of anger or difficulty. It reassures the reader of God’s unchanging character and steadfast love.
