Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude for the promise that you have set all the boundaries of the earth and made summer and winter. I claim this promise over my life and ask that you guide me in all my endeavors. Help me to trust in your sovereignty and to know that you are in control of all things. May your hand be upon me as I navigate the seasons of life, and may I always remember that you are faithful to your promises. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the assurance that you are with me always. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
Psalms 74:17

This is a Promise. The verse acknowledges God’s power and sovereignty over the earth and the changing of seasons. It is a statement of fact rather than a command to the reader.
