Dear Lord, I claim the promise that as a dream when one wakes up, so when you awake, you will despise their fantasies. I pray that you will awaken in me a desire for your will and your ways. Help me to let go of any fantasies or desires that are not in line with your plan for my life. May my heart be filled with your truth and my mind be renewed by your word. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that you will despise any fantasies that are not of you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is saying that when the Lord awakes, he will despise the fantasies of those who oppose him, just as a dream is quickly forgotten upon waking.
