Father God, I come to you today claiming the promise that you will deliver me from the hands of those who seek to tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces. I trust in your unfailing love and protection, knowing that you are always with me, even in the darkest of times. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and that you will be my shield and my fortress. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always being my deliverer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalms 7:2
This is a Promise. The verse is a plea for protection from God, asking that he prevent the reader’s soul from being torn apart like a lion would rip apart its prey. There is no explicit command given to the reader.
