Dear God, I come to you today with a heavy heart and a troubled mind. I feel like I am drowning in the flood waters of life, and I am afraid that I will be swallowed up by the deep. Please do not let the pit shut its mouth on me. I pray that you will lift me up and carry me through this difficult time. Help me to trust in your love and your power to save me. Give me the strength and courage to face whatever challenges come my way, knowing that you are always with me. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for your never-ending love. Amen.

Verse: Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.
Psalms 69:15
