Dear Lord, please help us to resist the temptation to harm others and instead, let us show them love and kindness. May we never seek to swallow them up alive like Sheol or wish them harm. Instead, let us be a source of light and hope for those who are struggling. Help us to be whole and to lift others up as they go down into the pit. Amen.
