Dear God, I come to you today with a heavy heart, feeling rejected and alone. But I know that your promises are true, and that you will never leave nor forsake me. I claim the promise that you will go out with my armies, and that you will fight for me. Help me to trust in your unfailing love and to have faith that you are always with me, even in the darkest of times. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you will never abandon me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse expresses a lament that God seems to have rejected the people and is not helping them in battle. There is no command given to the reader.
