Prayer based on Psalms 5:11. Themes: Refuge, Joy, Love

Dear God, I take refuge in you and I am filled with joy knowing that you defend me. I thank you for your promise that those who love your name will always be joyful in you. I claim this promise today and ask that you fill me with your joy and peace. Help me to always trust in you and find refuge in your loving arms. Thank you for being my defender and my source of joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice.Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them.Let them also who love your name be joyful in you.
Psalms 5:11

This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who take refuge in God will rejoice and shout for joy because God defends them, and those who love God’s name will be joyful in Him.
