Dear Lord, I come to you in the day of trouble, knowing that you are the only one who can deliver me. I claim the promise in your word that says, “I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” I trust in your unfailing love and your faithfulness to your promises. Thank you for being my refuge and my strength in times of trouble. I honor you and give you all the glory for the deliverance that is coming my way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse promises that if the reader calls on God in the day of trouble, God will deliver them and they will honor Him.
